The Board of Supervisors of the Port of the Islands Community Improvement District will be holding a regular meeting on October 16, 2020 at 9:00 AM.  

The agenda will be posted on this website.  Please be advised the District continues to monitor local, state and federal communications, guidelines, recommendations, and advisories regarding COVID-19 and the impact it has on holding public meetings and gatherings.  The safety of residents, guests, Supervisors, staff, and visitors is of the utmost importance to the District.  Consistent with Executive Order 20-69, 20-112, 20-139, 20-150, 20-179, and further extended in 20-246, please be advised that the District intends to use communications media technology in order to conduct this regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors.  Consistent with the executive order, and for safety reasons, there will not be any Supervisors or staff physically present at the originally noticed meeting location.  Regular procedures will be reinstated when the executive orders are lifted.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

A Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors (the “Board”) of the Port of the Islands Community Improvement District (POI CID) is scheduled to be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM. The meeting will either be held at the Orchid Cove Clubhouse, 25005 Peacock Lane Naples, FL 34114, or, Consistent with Executive Order 20-69 and subsequent extensions, the POI CID may use communications media technology in order to conduct this special meeting of the Board of Supervisors.  Anyone wishing to attend this public meeting should refer to the District’s website at poicid.com for a determination on how the meeting will be conducted and, if via communications technology, for meeting attendance instructions. The purpose of this meeting is to open and review Request for Proposals for an Automated Meter Read System. The meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida Law for Community Improvement Districts.

Each person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, is advised that person will need a record of the proceedings and that accordingly, the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.

The Port of the Islands Community Improvement District (POI CID) is requesting Proposals for the following:

Automated Meter Read System

A CID is a special purpose local government established under Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. Premier District Management, on behalf POI CID, is requesting proposals from qualified licensed companies specializing in installation, training, servicing, and monitoring an Automated Radio-Read Water Metering System.

Copies of the complete specifications are to be obtained by emailing the District Manager, Calvin Teague at cteague@cddmanagement.com or by pick up at the address below. Bid packets will be available for pick up or email receipt beginning October 1st, 2020. 

Completed printed, sealed proposals must be received 8:30 AM on Friday October 23rd, 2020 to the address below to be considered for this Request for ProposalIn addition to the official printed, sealed bid, please submit an electronic copy of the bid to cteague@cddmanagement.com
