CID Board Vacancy: Submission of Interest due January 8, 2021
The CID is in need of qualified residents who wish to be considered for appointment to the Board. Seat No. 2 has been vacated by a resignation and has two years remaining on the four-year term. The terms are for 4 years and are filled by general election or appointment by action of the Board. The intent is to have interested candidates attend the next Board of Supervisors meeting on January 15th, 2020 at 9 AM at the Orchid Cove Clubhouse.

Required to become a Board member:
- You must be a Qualified Elector: at least 18 years old, a permanent legal resident of Florida (registered to vote/car registration in Florida), a resident in the Port of the Islands Community Improvement District, and a citizen of the United States.
Desired in a Board member:
- The Board requests any interested Qualified Electors to submit a brief (one page) written statement of interest outlining pertinent experience and/or history. Previous experience with contracts, contractor management, government, construction, utilities, landscaping, or storm water system maintenance is highly sought.
